Hello 2024!
After a crazy November and December we are having a quiet January!
Panto was exhausting for us but we are so proud of our performances!!! We managed to raise £4500 for charity which is the most we have ever done before so we would like to say thank you to everyone who supported us, we had a great time!!
So focus then turns to what 2024 will bring, we have already pencilled in dates for this year. We will be having a small coffee morning on 10th Feb 12-2pm, a pop in and grab a coffee and some cake kind of afternoon! so we can prepare for you Spring Fair on Saturday 6th April. This will be a bigger event with kids activities and then on 13th July its the big one! Summer Fair where we go all out and have loads of stuff happening including BBQ, entertainment and kids fun and games!
And Boom! its halfway through the year!!!
We are also planning a few ticketed events this year as well as Panto!
Another idea was to have a hustings for the upcoming general election, we would like to invite all candidates intending on standing in the election to meet their constituents and answer questions on what matter to them most. We cant give you a date yet as we don't know when the election will be called, but as soon as we know, we will be right on it!
So we press on with 2024 and we are hoping to have lots of opportunity to invite our community to come visit us and support us, not just on a Sunday morning but at our events we hold for the community.
We are a church first and foremost, however, we see ourselves as part of the community providing affordable and fun events to all. Our events team work so hard to make everyone feel welcome and we get fantastic feedback that everyone feels welcome and safe visiting us and this makes us very happy!
So please come along and support us whenever you can, you are more than welcome and there is always plenty of tea/coffee and cake :)
